Jim Thompson's Thai House, Bangkok

Jim Thompson House in located on Soi Kasemsan Rd. opposite National Stadium, only a short walk from National Stadium BTS skytrain station. The House is the home of James H.W. Thompson, American businessman, who initiated Jim Thompson Thai Silk company. Jim Thompson's House has an area of one rai, around half an acer. The house consists of 6 Thai traditional Teak houses which the structures was bought from several owners from different parts of the country. The construction of house was finished in 1959. Around the house, there is a well landscaped garden in jungle style with variety of local flowers. In the house, there are also the collection of Antique items such as sculpture, painting, porcelain, and other collectible items. Moreover, you can enjoy shopping at Jim Thompson's, premium quality Thai Silk Shop in the house area.
